A future electric variant of the popular Hyundai Creta SUV, the Hyundai Creta Electric has been designed to satisfy the rising demand for sustainable automobiles. The Creta Electric, which will likely showcase Hyundai’s latest innovations in electric mobility, is expected to include a strong battery pack that will allow for a range of roughly 400–500 kilometers on a single charge. Advanced technologies including regenerative braking, fast charging, and modern networking options are expected to be included. It attempts to preserve the versatility and comfort of its petrol and diesel cousins with a contemporary design and roomy cabins.

The Maruti Suzuki eVitara has a wheelbase of 2,700 mm and dimensions of 4,275 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width, and 1,635 mm in height. The Hyundai Creta Electric, on the other hand, is believed to have the same dimensions as its internal combustion engine alternative, measuring 4,330 mm in length, 1,770 mm in width, and 1,635 mm in height with a 2,610 mm wheelbase. As a result, the eVitara may have greater inside room than the Creta Electric because it is broader, somewhat shorter, and has a longer wheelbase.

Price: eVitara Versus Creta Electric Price And Variants

The Maruti Suzuki eVitara and Hyundai Creta Electric are expected to boost the electric SUV industry in India. It is projected that the Creta Electric will launch at about ₹17 lacks, which could reduce the eVitara’s predicted launch price of ₹22 lacks. Two battery options will be available from Creta Electric: a 42 kWh pack with a range of 390 km and a 51.4 kWh pack with a range of up to 473 km. The eVitara, on the other hand, is anticipated to have 49 kWh and 60 kWh batteries, both of which will be offered in front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions. 

Eight mono and two dual-tone color options, including three matte colors, will be available for the Creta Electric in four variants: Executive, Smart, Premium, and Excellence. Although there are no specs available, we expect that the e-Vitara will be available in Sigma, Zeta, and Alpha versions, along with a variety of color combinations, including single and monochromatic choices.

The e Vitara’s features include a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, a wireless vehicle charger, linked car technology, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a dual-display setup (a touchscreen infotainment system and a fully digital instrument cluster). However, the vehicle that is coming to India will likely have ADAS, hill hold assistance, electronic stability control (ESC), six airbags, and a 360-degree camera.

There are two battery pack options available for the Creta Electric and e Vitara, however, their specifications have not yet been verified for the market. With ARAI ranges of up to 390 km and 473 km, respectively, Hyundai provides 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh battery packs. Additionally, it facilitates both DC and AC rapid charging. Electric motors have a maximum power output of 135 PS and 171 PS. In contrast, the e Vitara, which is sold in foreign countries, is equipped with either a single or dual motor and 49 kWh or 60 kWh battery packs. The power output varies according to the battery-motor combination, ranging from 144 PS/189 Nm to 184 PS/300 Nm.
