Introduction

  • The Kia Carens was introduced as a more polished MPV in the existing people-mover segment of cars in India.
  • It took care of evolving needs of Indian families while providing three-row comfort.

  • With the advent of the Carens Clavis, the number of Carens variants was reduced considerably to a few.
  • Apart from the petrol manual Premium (O) variant, there's a CNG version offered, though as a dealer-level fitment.

Exterior

  • The Kia Carens looked like a proper new-age car amid the existing few MPVs during its launch.
  • With DRLs, LED lighting setup, funky alloys, and connected tail lamp designs, it looked very modern.
  • Its proportions were also large but still not cumbersome to be used in the city.
  • The new Clavis, in fact, builds on these positive traits that made it a successful MPV.

  • On the other hand, there was also a 1.5-litre diesel motor churning out 113bhp and 250Nm of torque.
