India’s largest automotive festival, the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, started on 17 January 2025. It showcased new vehicles, major launches, and innovative ideas. Many major automakers, such as Hyundai, Maruti Suzuki, Toyota, and Skoda, launched their electric lineups. Tata and Mahindra displayed recent models. And not to forget the expensive luxury models from Mini, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Porsche.
Being held at the Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, this festival will last till 22nd January 2025.

Top 5 SUVs Launched:
1. Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara
This model of Maruti Suzuki attracted many spectators at the 2025 Auto Expo. With Indian specifications, the e-Vitara has a front-wheel drivetrain configuration and a battery pack of 49 and 61 kWh. The exterior and interior are the same as the global specification.
It has two electric motor options: with 49 kWh—144 PS/192.5 Nm electric motor and with 61 kWh—174 PS/192.5 Nm. Maruti claimed that the e-Vitara will range more than 500 kilometers on a single charge.
2. Hyundai Creta Electric
Another awe-inspiring Hyundai launch was the Creta Electric. The price ranges from ₹17.99 lakhs to ₹23.50 lakhs. It is available in 4 models: Executive, Smart, Premium, and Excellence. Talking about the features, it has ADAS, a 360-degree camera, a panoramic sunroof, a ventilated front seat, and two 10.25-inch infotainment screens.
The Hyundai Creta EV can range up to 473 with two powertrain options.
3. Tata Harrier Bandipur Edition and Harrier EV
Tata Motors had the Bandipur edition with a regular and stealth version, the Harrier EV, and the Harrier SUV with 3 configurations. The Bandipur edition is tributed to Karnataka’s Bandipur National Park as it has a metallic bronze exterior tone. The features and engine choices are comparable to the standard ones.
Talking about the production specification, the Harrier EV has an all-wheel drivetrain and an electric powertrain that produces 500 Nm of torque. With a black interior and exterior, the Stealth Edition of the Harrier EV has more of everything as compared to the regular Harrier EV.
4. Mahindra XEV 9e and BE 6
We also saw the display of the Mahindra XEV 9e and BE 6, the recent electric vehicle release by the auto giant. The expected range is up to 682 kilometers; both are available with 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery packs. Talking about their features, they have ADAS, a 360-degree camera, a panoramic glass roof, ambient lighting, wireless phone charging ports, and a multi-screen configuration.
The price of BE 6 is between ₹18.90 lakhs and ₹26.90 lakhs, and of XEV 9e is ₹21.90 lakhs to ₹30.50 lakhs.
5. Vinfast VF 3
Last but not least, the VF3 EV, which was unveiled by VinFast at the Bharat Mobility Expo, held its breath. This compact two-door EV car has a boxy shape and tough appearance. Features can be listed as a front power window, manual air conditioning, and a 10-inch infotainment system. The VF3 EV is expected to have a range of 215 km with an electric motor of 41 PS and 110 Nm.
