The MG Comet EV is a small electric urban car that can be used as a commuter. It has a 17.3kWh battery, a claimed 230km range and a 42hp rear-mounted motor. It takes approximately 7 hours to charge using a 3.3kW charger and quicker AC charging is optional on higher variants. It is practical and is technologically oriented with its small footprint, low turning radius, and the modern dashboard with two screens. Extras like two airbags, ABS EBD and ISOFIX are also provided. It has a price of ₹7.98 lakh to ₹9.98 lakh (ex-showroom) with a battery warranty of 8 years and 1.2 lakh kms, which is one of the cheapest EVs in India.
