Introduction

  • Tata Motors brought in the Curvv.ev coupe SUV in the Indian market in the latter half of 2024.
  • It was launched at a starting price of Rs. 17.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
  • Well, the Tata Curvv concept was first exhibited at the 2023 Auto Expo.
  • Then, this followed by its production version being showcased at the Bharat Mobility Show in 2024.
  • Furthermore, in 2025, the dark editions of the Curvv EV were launched.
  • These were similar to the dark Editions of the Nexon ICE and EV, Safari, Harrier, and the Altroz.
  • Both the Curvv ICE and EV got cosmetic upgrades rather than major styling or design changes.

Exterior

  • The USP of the Curvv is a stylish coupe-like roofline with an upright rear fascia with a continuous LED taillight.
  • So, whether it’s the Curvv or the Curvv EV, both remain identical to the concept car, which is a great thing.
  • However, Tata Motors has made sure the Curvv's front is in line with its other siblings like the Safari, Harrier, and Nexon.
  • This gets very evident with a bold front end sporting a split headlamp setup and a wide DRL.
  • A good road presence is thanks to a high hood, 190mm of ground clearance, and big 18-inch wheels.
  • Being specific to the EV, the alloys get aero inserts and a wading depth of 450mm adds to the Curvv EV's capability.

Interior

  • Inside the Curvv EV, there's a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system taking centre stage and incorporating all controls in it.
  • This unit is paired with a nine-speaker JBL sound system.
  • Then, the Curvv EV is equipped with a four-spoke multi-function steering wheel with the brand's latest illuminated Tata logo.
  • Behind it is a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster integrating Google map navigation as well.
