Introduction

  • Tata Motors launched the facelifted Punch EV in India on 20 February 2026.
  • Prices start at Rs. 9.69 lakh with variants named Smart, Adventure, and Empowered, the latter being the top-spec model.
  • This sub-compact SUV receives an update, with the primary focus being on the styling and new features like it’s ICE counterpart.
  • The Tata Punch EV also has been a successful model and one of the most popular EVs in the brand's line-up.
  • In 2026, these updates add more appeal to the Punch EV.

Exterior

  • The updated Punch gets a few cosmetic changes like the petrol version.
  • This includes a redesigned front fascia, with a split headlamp setup similar to the outgoing version.
  • Even the alloy wheels have slightly changed with a new pattern.
  • At the back, the Punch EV sports revised LED tail lamps with an integrated, connected LED unit.

Interior

  • The Punch EV facelift continues to get a large touchscreen infotainment system in the centre and also a digital instrument cluster.

  • While the 40kWh battery pack version is called the Long Range (LR), the 30kWh one is a Medium Range (MR).
