Toyota Kirloskar Motor announced the launch of the Fortuner Leader Edition in India yesterday. Being currently the best seller in the full-size SUV segment, the Fortuner competes with the MG Gloster, which has yet to make an entry in the coming years. According to the sources, the Ford Endeavour will soon make a comeback via the CBU route.
If you are planning to purchase the Toyota Fortuner Leader Edition in India, then reserve through the authorized Toyota dealers available in the market or go to their official website. The Leader Edition has a cosmetic enhancement, which brings the price into a slightly premium bracket.
Exteriors
A black-finished alloy wheel design with bumper spoilers on either end, rear, or front gives it a chrome finish. Having a two-tone colour scheme, The Leader is available in Super White, Platinum Pearl White, and Silver Metallic colours with a black roof.
Interiors
It also has a wireless charging facility, auto-folding outside rear view mirrors, a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and a 2.8-liter four-cylinder diesel engine, which gives a maximum power output of 201 bhp and 500 Nm of power training. It will be coupled with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque automatic converter transmission.
With the 4×2 configuration, Sabari Manohar, Vice President of Sales, Services, and Used Car Business at Toyota Kirloskar Motor, vocalizes, “Our customers are at the heart of everything we do. Their evolving preferences and desires for enhanced features and driving experiences motivate our relentless pursuit of excellence.
